Fulcrum One is a complete software solution for the design, simulation and control of acoustics, loudspeaker and immersive systems.

What's new

2026.2.4

Open Recent Projects

Quickly access your recent work with the new Recent Projects feature. Previously opened and saved projects are now available from the File → Open Recent menu in the application menubar, or from the Welcome Screen when launching the app. Each entry displays the project name, file path, and how long ago it was last opened. You can also remove individual projects from the list or clear the entire history.

Cameras

Save and recall camera positions in both Design and Mapping tabs. Create named camera presets to quickly switch between different viewpoints of your project. The camera panel in the 3D viewport allows you to store the current camera state, recall saved cameras with a single click, and reorder them via drag-and-drop. Additionally, you can now toggle between Perspective and Orthographic camera modes for different visualization needs.

Redesigned EQ Response Plots

The EQ Response plot has been completely redesigned for consistent scaling across different screen resolutions and display sizes. The new implementation provides a fixed coordinate system that ensures plots look identical regardless of your monitor's pixel density. Interactive shortcuts have been added for better filter management—drag points to adjust frequency and gain, use the scroll wheel to modify Q/bandwidth, and click the plot to add new filter points. Selected filter points can now be removed by hitting the DEL key on your keyboard.

New Mapping Options

Expanded mapping configuration options give you more flexibility in acoustic analysis:

  • 3 Octave Banding – A new banding option that provides broader frequency groupings for a smoother, more generalized view of coverage patterns.
  • Speech & Music Noise Signals – Two new input signal types join Pink Noise and EIA-426B. Use "Speech" for vocal level analysis or "Music Noise" for program material simulations.

Find these options in the Mapping Settings panel or the mapping toolbar at the bottom of the viewport.
